How the Athens Card is Different — and Why You’ll Love It
Hi, I’m Konstantin (Kostas for short — you might spot me in the reviews 😊).
When my father and I created the Athens Card 8 years ago, there were no tourist cards in Athens. We were inspired by similar cards abroad, but wanted something better: freedom and service above all else.
That’s why our cards have no fixed day limit. Instead of “3-day” or “5-day” cards, we offer Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You can visit the Acropolis Museum today, take the Hop-On Hop-Off bus next week, and use public transport the week after — all at your own pace. The only limits are those set by the individual attractions (like a 48-hour bus ticket starting from first use).
We’re also the only card delivered with all your tickets printed and ready at your Athens accommodation — free of charge. No apps to download, no printing, no pickup points (unless you prefer digital tickets — just ask).

There Are 3 Types of Athens Cards Available:
Bronze, Silver and Gold
This is Included in the Athens Card Bronze
- Entrance to the Acropolis Hill and slopes (Reservation Needed, we do it for you!)
With this “ skip the ticket office line” ticket included with your Athens Card you avoid the lines at the ticket Office at the Acropolis site. In the high season there might still be a line through the entrance, but when you already have your ticket this usually goes fast. (There is a time slot system in place, and we make the reservation for your preferred time slot for you)
- Entrance to the Acropolis Museum (Reservation Needed, we do it for you!) Also here, you avoid the line to the tickets office. Unfortunately the security line can’t be avoided,but when the security line get long they usually open a second entrance for prepaid tickets and groups that you can use, which is much faster .
- 48 hours hop on – hop off Athens city sightseeing including 3 Lines (Athens, Piraeus and Glyfada)

The Above child and junior rates does not include the entrance fees for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, as these has to be paid at the ticket office of each site in order to get the discount ( the discount depends on age and citizenship of the Junior or child, that has to be proved at the entrance with a passport ) Keep in mind that therefore these tickets are not skip the ticket office line tickets, and the adults might have to wait with their children even though they are holding skip the ticket office line tickets themselves)
