The summers in Athens Greece are generally warm and dry, but the beginning of the summer is very comfortable.

June

The summer officially begins with June, and both the temperatures and the weather reflect this.

The average temperature in June is 24°C (75°F), the average low is 20°C (68°F) and the average high is 28°C (82°F). in June the weather is pretty stable all through, with lots of sun, approx. 10 hours per day, a low 55% humidity and almost no rain! Don’t forget to hit the beach one of the days you are here if you come to Athens in June!

July

Although the summer officially starts in June, we do reach the highest average temperatures in July.

The average temperature is a high 27°C (81°F), the average low is 22°C (72°F) and the average high reaches a stifling 32°C (90°F)!!

Even though this is the warmest month and this could cause a little discomfort, there is a positive side to this, with the sea temperatures reaching an average 24°C 75°F, so make sure you visit the beach while you are here!

Sunshine is as most of the summer months on an average around 10 hours per day in July.

And as rain is nonexistent, you don’t have to worry about rain ruining your beach day!

 

August

Still a very warm month, august has almost the same temperatures like the other summer months.

The average temperature this month is 27°C (81°F), the average low is 22°C (72°F) and the average high 31°C (88°F) the weather is warm and consistent all through the month.

There is no rain in august in Athens, and the sunshine is around 8 hours per day on average.

As always in the summer, almost no rain, and the average humidity is around 50%
